Passing of Patricia Ann Adam Assenheimer

We are sad to inform you of the passing of our classmate Pat Adam Assenheimer.

Patricia Ann Adam Assenheimer, affectionately known as Pat, died peacefully on Monday, April 11, 2022. She lived in Metairie until the age of 76.

Pat was born on July 25, 1945 in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, to Sylvester and Anna May Adam. After graduating from Fortier High School, she worked as a legal secretary until she had her first daughter. She was a homemaker from then on. She was an avid reader and very active in her daughters’ lives. She volunteered at her children’s schools and coached several sports at Westgate playground.

In 1965, Pat married Lex Assenheimer and recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. She leaves behind three daughters, Tara Treloar, Lauren Callaghan, and Trish Picone; five grandchildren, Sidney Callaghan, Alex Corona, Joseph Schiro, and Jaden and Jordan Picone; and two sons-in-law, Adam Treloar and Jeremy Picone. She is also survived by her brothers, Mike and Tom Adam.

Pat was predeceased by her father, Sylvester Adam, mother, Anna May Adam, and sister, Mary Ellen Adams.
