Big 50th Reunion
What a Reunion! The best party of our lives, the best weekend, the most fun and the most memorable.
After three years of meeting and planning, our reunion has come and gone, and was a big success. It was worth every minute we spent putting it on.
July 26th through July 28th, 2013.
Harrah’s New Orleans Hotel was our headquarters and site for the Friday night get-together and the Saturday night Dinner Dance.
Deacon John and the Ivories We were honored to have the nationally famous entertainer. We’ll will never forget this Dinner Dance. The dance floor was full the entire night
Look who came- Friday Night… In the Vieux Carre’ Foyer at the hotel we had cocktails & cheese and a get-together to warm up for the big event. We then walked next door to Manning’s and enjoyed entertainment with classmate Leif Pedersen’s 14-piece 1944 Big Band.
- Saturday Night This was the party of a lifetime, the kind you’d expect from the class of ’63. It was our Dinner Dance with fabulous New Orleans cuisine served buffet style. Deacon John played all night and we danced.
- Farewell Brunch: We said good bye for now over brunch at the Bourbon House Restaurant.
- Gift Bag – Everyone received mementos of the weekend in a gift bag.
